Find out about Ed

I have always had animals in my life and have a great love for all creatures great and small (except frogs and toads!).

My first experience of owning my own dog started when my wife and I were living in Uxbridge, Middlesex, in late 2009. We used to visit the Harefield Dogs Trust on a regular basis and one weekend we met Hannah. She was a gorgeous Rottweiler X, about 18 months old, who had been brought down from Scotland, having been found as a very poorly stray. We were told that she would be perfect for us and so, after all the checks were carried out, we took her home and renamed her Chilli.

Initially all was well, she settled in nicely and we soon moved back to my home town of Southend-on-sea.

Once Chilli had settled in, we discovered that this peaceful, loving dog was actually a nightmare outside of the house, particularly with other dogs. Help was clearly needed so we contacted Jo at K9 Solutions.

Chilli now 'works' at the K9 Solutions Social groups along with her 'brother', Beans a working black lab with a lust for life and fun.

Thanks to Chilli, I now have first-hand experience of dealing with difficult dogs and therefore get great satisfaction from helping clients with their own rescues. It is my belief that every dog deserves a second chance!
